The Fast Metabolism Diet isn't really a diet in that sense of the word. It's more of a healthy eating plan than a cut out everything you like, count calories, starve yourself diet. If anything it's the exact opposite!
Basically it's a 2-2-3 meal plan.
Three phases: Phase 1 = 2 days, Phase 2 = 2 days, Phase 3 = 3 days. Eat specific food groups on specific days and get your metabolism fired up.
Phase 1 (2 days)
3 carb rich, moderate protein, low fat meals.
2 fruit snacks
Cardio Exercise
Phase 2 (2 days)
3 no carb, protein and veggie meals
2 protein snacks
Weight Lifting Exercise
Phase 3 (3 days)
3 protein rich, veggie and healthy fats meals
2 veggie and healthy fats snacks
Relaxing Activity Exercise
